Children’s Book Reviews ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ

I currently work part-time at a library, and I like it a lot. Being assigned to the Children’s Section, it’s hard not to be pulled into the plethora of children’s books it has to offer. Especially in my library, our children’s shelves are literally bursting at the seam with books.I am guilty, that I admit,  of take peeks are books that pop out at me when I organize the loads of carts that come in almost every day and put them away. There are many great books new and old, picture books and early readers, and even regular juvenile fiction (about fourth grade and up).

Here I will post reviews and comments about the books I’ve read. I will put them into three categories and what they will consist of. BE WARNED, these reviews/ posts will most likely contain SPOILERS!!! Click on each colored tab to take a look at these reviews. The book reviews will be in order by author, if you do not want to spend time to look through my recent posts and try to find it.

– A brief prelude (preview) of the book
– My opinion/ verdict (brief and spoiler proof)
– More in-depth review (SPOILER Alert!!)
– possible teaching implications (I have to put that masters in education to use!)

  • early readers (reading levels 1 and higher)

– A brief prelude (preview) of the book
– My opinion/ verdict (brief and spoiler proof)
– More in-depth review (SPOILER Alert!!)
– possible teaching implications (I have to put that masters in education to use!)
– what parents can do to help their children read better (I’ll do my best to help!__

  • regular fiction (for children of course)

– A brief prelude (preview) of the book
– My opinion/ verdict (brief and spoiler proof)
– More in-depth review (SPOILER Alert!!)

These reviews will be put out when I have the time, but I will try to do one to two each week (depending on the size of the book). I may sometimes put up more than one.
